DESCRIPTION
Crono 50 is an ambulatory infusion pump for pain treatment
on patients in hospitals or undergoing a treatment at home; it appears
to be an innovative device thanks to its small size and its 50 ml réservoir.
Crono 50 is suitable for subcutaneous, intra-venous, epidural infusions
allowing three different administration modalities:
• Continuous
• Bolus dose upon request (PCA)
• Combined (continuous + PCA)
The pump is provided with key-pad lock-out in order to avoid wrong or
non authorised administrations of the drug.
The liquid crystal
display (LCD) shows the information which are helpful both for the doctor
and the patient concerning programming, functioning and diagnostics of
the pump.

- It is possible to exclude the flow function.

- From 0.10 to 1.00 ml with 0.02 ml steps;
- From 1.00 to 5.00 ml with 0.5 ml steps;
- It is possible to exclude the bolus dose function.

Minimum interval between bolus doses:
Selectable from 5' to 24 hours at the following steps:
-From 5' to 1 hour at 5' steps
-From 1 h to 10 h at 30' steps
-From 10 h to 24 h at 1 h steps
-It is possible to exclude the function to allow the delivery of bolus
doses without limits.

Selectable from 1 to 24 bolus doses in 24 hours

Memorization:
The selected values are automatically inserted into a memory which can
store them even when the device is left without battery.
